Linz Retreat 2025

The Linz sales team kicked off 2025 with our annual Linz Retreat. During this trip, the team took the time to come together for a yearly meeting that included a recap of the year, 2025 plans, training, and plenty of room for fun.

We began the trip at one of our customers’ locations in Orlando, Florida — Rosen Shingle Creek. During our meeting, we shared performance results for 2024, 2025 initiatives, and all the exciting plans marketing has in store. The team then switched gears for a training session with John Livesay, who equipped our team with tools on how to Tell Better Stories & Win More Sales. The afternoon concluded with a panel discussion featuring our Executive Team, where sales representatives got to ask their burning questions. The day was filled with great conversations and an engaged team excited for another successful year. We wrapped up the day with dinner at Cala Bella at the Rosen Shingle Creek property. The dinner was fantastic, and the highlight was, of course, Linz Heritage Angus steaks. The culinary team did an amazing job—thank you to their team for a great first day.

This year’s retreat took us aboard Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas. We are proud to partner with Royal Caribbean on 13 of their ships’ steakhouses — Chops Steakhouse. Our team enjoyed everything the second-largest cruise ship in the world had to offer. We made two port stops — Nassau, Bahamas, and CoCoCay, Bahamas. The team had the opportunity to enjoy free time with their guests, while we also planned activities to encourage team bonding.

Highlights of the Weekend:

🏆 Awards Night: Old Hollywood
The team donned their Old Hollywood best and enjoyed a beautiful cocktail party. Everyone waited anxiously to see who would win the coveted awards this year. Congratulations to our 2024 award winners:

• The Ace Award: Lisa Sanders — in recognition of outstanding sales growth.
• The Golden Briefcase: Scott Bross — in recognition of outstanding gross margin.
• Prime Player Award: Monica Ramirez — in recognition of outstanding commitment and sales performance.

The evening concluded with inaugural superlative awards, bringing laughter and energy to the room.

🥩 Chops Steakhouse Dinner
The trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the ship’s Chops Steakhouse, where our Linz Heritage Angus program is the star of the menu. The team enjoyed perfectly prepared steaks, classic steakhouse sides, and finished off the meal with incredible desserts featuring our Meats by Linz logo.

🏖️ Hideaway Beach
On the last day of the trip, the entire team enjoyed a relaxing day at Hideaway Beach in CoCoCay. We lounged in style with a section of cabanas, hit the pool and beach, and soaked up the sun — a perfect end to a memorable retreat.
