Jon Morrison

Jon Morrison joined the family business in 2021 and spent a significant amount of time learning all the ins and outs of the operations, from the cutting room floor to our export business. Jon is currently an integral leader in our operations team overseeing inventory management, forecasting, production scheduling, remote warehouse operations, policy and standard operation procedure implementation, and export business coordination.

Before joining Meats by Linz, Jon had a successful wrestling and coaching career. The Oklahoma State University wrestler was a Big 12 Champion and All-American before becoming an Olympic hopeful, Regional Training Center athlete and coach at Oklahoma State University and the University of Michigan. After his wrestling career, he owned and operated Capital Wrestling Club in Rockville, Maryland, and was the coach and Executive Director of the DMV Regional Training Center based out of the University of Maryland. Jon received his bachelor’s degree in business management at Oklahoma State University.
